I have worked in video production for many years across a wide range of creative, educational, and technically demanding projects. I began my career in small production companies, where I developed strong foundations in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Tight deadlines were a constant feature, often requiring long production hours to deliver high-quality outputs. This experience gave me a solid grounding in production planning, technical execution, and creative problem-solving, which has underpinned my career ever since.
In my current role at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), I produce a wide range of video content with a primary focus on teaching and learning. I work closely with academic staff and learning teams to create instructional and educational videos that support curriculum delivery and help communicate complex subject matter in an accessible and engaging way. I also produce content for marketing and institutional communications, ensuring consistency and quality across both internal and external-facing media.
A key aspect of my role is managing the full production lifecycle—from concept development and scripting through to filming, editing, and delivery. This includes working directly with subject matter experts, directing shoots, and editing content using professional post-production workflows. I also lead live video production for major institutional events, including the RVC graduation ceremonies held at the Royal Festival Hall, where I oversee multi-camera live streaming, AV coordination, and production teams in a high-pressure, real-time environment.
Alongside my work in higher education, I have a broad background in multimedia production, including 3D graphics, animation, and cross-media projects. Earlier in my career, I worked with Sound and Light Collective Ltd, delivering complex multimedia productions combining video, animation, and audio. I also worked at the Medical Research Council (Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit), where I produced 2D graphics, illustrations, and video content, alongside developing skills in photography and large-format print production. Video production remains a core part of my professional practice. I bring together technical expertise, creative storytelling, and a strong understanding of audience and purpose to deliver content that is both engaging and effective. Whether producing educational materials, live events, or promotional content, my focus is always on clear communication, high production standards, and meaningful impact.
